“Unseen we can enter the houses of men, where there are children, and for every day on which we find a good child, who is the joy of his parents and deserves their love, our time of probation is shortened. The child does not know, when we fly through the room, that we smile with joy at his good conduct, for we can count one year less of our three hundred years. But when we see a naughty or a wicked child, we shed tears of sorrow, and for every tear a day is added to our time of trial!”-” The Little Mermaid ”
Well, The Little Mermaid, is a fairy tale that I hate the most.
Prince always find his true love princess, evil queen always get punished, Cinderella will always left her glass slipper behind. The reason why a fairy tale to be formed, not because there is always a prince and a princess, talking animals in the forest, but because there is always a cure ends people’s dream.
The prince and princess live happily ever after, in real life no one have any clue about a happy life. Teddy bears grow up with smoking, drinking, swearing and threesome, Little Red Riding Hood fell in love with a werewolf and they into sadomasochistic. Does The princess ever has an affair? Does Prince ever get bended?
“Tragedy is the best stage to destroy all the beauties” So the fairy tale is the best channel to filter all the darkness. This world is not so dreamy, and not so miserable. First Class and Economy Class can not separate the class antagonisms; McDonalds and KFC can not stop socialism; Cold War and fight caused by a fall out still a fall out. At the end of the day, we will make up and then continue the heartless nausea reward.
There are two ways to fall out with a mouthy person. One is knowing himself has a bad-mouth so he will keep claim and quiet. The other is talking gently but every word he said is pointing right into your heart, even more those words are logical.
Uh I’m both and I believe somebody has to believe in fairy tales.
